Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
Coach Campbell has been a strength and conditioning coach for 23 years. He has 9 national certifications and has trained athletes of all ages and all sports. Coach Campbell played linebacker and was the defensive player of the year at Idaho State in 1990. He started his career teaching, coaching and training athletes in Hawaii at Punahou High School. He then started his first personal training company called 1-on-u. Coach Campbell’s clients have included a Miss Hawaii winner, miss USA winner, miss universe winner, 2 NBA all-stars, 3 NFL all-pros, and many of his high school clients have gone on to earn college scholarships. Coach Campbell moved back to Pocatello in 1997 where he started Total Sports Conditioning Camps, in which he trained area athletes during the summer months. During the school year he worked as the Health Services Manager of the Pocatello Head Start Program. He then joined Idaho State University in 2005 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He became the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2007. Coach Campbell enjoys traveling around the country sharing his knowledge with coaches and athletes of all levels.

Kristin M. Kehrer BS, CSCS
CSCS certified
Graduate Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach
Kristin joins Idaho State University from Detroit, MI. Prior to her coming to ISU, Kehrer worked for the University of Detroit Mercy where she was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s and Women’s Cheer, and Dance. She assisted with other teams such as Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, and Men’s and Women’s Golf. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which is a highly recognized certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is also certified through the American Heart Association for CPR/AED and First Aid. Kehrer also spent time as an intern for Total Performance Training Center, an Athletic Republic site (Frappier Acceleration) in Wixom, MI. There, she assisted with the implementation of various speed, agility, and strength programs for all ages of different sport athletes, from the youth to professional levels.
Coach Kehrer, or Coach K as most athletes refer to her, is responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of the Women’s sport teams strength and conditioning programs here at ISU including Basketball, Cheer, Golf, Softball, and Volleyball. She also assists Coach Campbell with Men’s Football.
Kehrer earned her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, from Eastern Michigan University in August of 2008 and is currently working toward her Master’s degree in Athletic Administration and Sport Science here at Idaho State University. She will graduate in May 2011.
